How to Run Customizer Over the Network:

1) Navigate to the GSISO server via Run or Explorer on the client's computer.  
   - If you don't know your server's IP address, use the automagic MountGSISO tool from http://gslink.us/MountGSISO.

2) Open the most recent MRI Customizer folder run Customizer.exe.

3) ???

4) Profit!

- Always up to date! We can push "Update Paks" directly to your server containing new Windows updates. Save on download times and you won't need to toss discs and burn new ones.

- Tablet support! With new PC form factors, optical drives are becoming less and less prevalent. Running over the network scales much better to future devices than a bunch of USB optical drives.

Potential Pitfalls:
-------------------

- Similar to using AJU, network execution of MRI Customizer can be significantly more reliable via a wired Ethernet connection. Depending on your store configuration, running MRI Customizer over wireless networks can result in a performance penalty. When in doubt, connect with an Ethernet cable!

- If you are running MRI Customizer from a network share that requires credentials, you MUST save the credentials for MRI Customizer to be able to relaunch on reboots. Failure to save the credentials will result in lots of Access Denied and/or File Not Found errors. 

To be sure you've saved the credentials, use one of these approaches:

   a) Use Explorer's Map Network Drive option and choose Reconnect on Logon. 
   b) Navigate to the share. When prompted for credentials, check the Save Network Credentials checkbox!

MRI Customizer will automatically detect and offer to remove the saved credentials & mapped drive when it finishes.
